Shadcn Dashboard is an extension of the popular shadcn/ui ecosystem. While shadcn/ui provides foundational building blocks, Shadcn Dashboard offers a massive library of ready-to-use premium dashboard blocks, pre-configured charts, complex data tables, sidebars, auth pages, and a full Next.js admin template. It follows the exact same copy-paste and CLI-based architecture, giving you full source code ownership.
The registry includes pre-made UI blocks for dashboard layouts/shells, interactive chart sections (using Recharts), TanStack data tables, responsive sidebars, advanced forms, and auth layouts. It also contains standard components like cards, date pickers, command palettes, and custom animated elements, all optimized for Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
You have complete flexibility. You can download the entire Next.js dashboard template to start a new project from scratch, or you can use our CLI and copy-paste system to add individual blocks, charts, sidebars, or components directly into your existing shadcn/ui codebase without any setup overhead.
It works exactly like shadcn/ui. You can copy the source code directly from our website or run a CLI command (e.g., `npx shadcn` with our custom registry configuration) to install the component and its dependencies automatically. The CLI configures import paths and file placement based on your local `components.json` settings.

Supabase Auth, Clerk, NextAuth (Auth.js), and Firebase Authentication are supported with ready-to-use integrations and examples. You can choose the provider that fits your stack and switch between them easily.
Both charts and data tables are production-ready. Charts are built with Recharts and are fully interactive with real data binding. Data tables use TanStack Table with sorting, filtering, and pagination built in not static mockups.
We provide a custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that indexes our entire component registry. When connected to AI editors like Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf, the AI assistant understands your layout, components, and Tailwind styles in real time. This means the AI can generate and modify code that matches your existing setup perfectly, without you having to manually copy-paste context.
Yes. The design system is built on CSS variables and Tailwind configuration, so you can modify colors, typography, spacing, and radius values globally. You can also create entirely new themes or extend the existing ones without touching individual component files.
The template is fully modular and open. Since you get full ownership of the source code, you can easily install new libraries or build custom features. The Pro Figma Kit is included with the Pro, Teams, and Enterprise plans. It is not included with the Free or Starter plan.
Yes. All our paid plans (Starter, Pro, Teams, and Enterprise) allow commercial use. You can use the components, blocks, and templates for client projects, commercial SaaS products, internal tools, and personal applications. There are no recurring royalties or user-based fees - you own what you build.
